About the North Shore
The North Shore is an aggressively growing community of Kamloops located a short 5 minute drive from downtown. There has been a lot of investment into the North Shore along the Tranquille corridor with a number of new residential and commercial developments and as a consequence Tranquille Road has attracted some new trendy restaurants, bars and brew pubs, incuding Red Beard Cafe, Bright Eye Brewing and the Sandbar (with a large river front deck), to name a few.
For those interested in recreation, the North Shore is home to Mcarthur Park sport and event centre comprising, 10 soccer fields, 12 Baseball diamonds, an 18 hole disc golf course, skateboard park, extensive riverside trails, bowling green and much more.
